Laura earned her Certificate and Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Detroit Mercy where she is now an Adjunct Instructor, Department of Periodontology and Dental Hygiene.  She teaches pre-clinical and clinical periodontics to dental hygiene and dental students and lectures on sonic, ultrasonic, and periodontal instrumentation, and most recently, emerging technology in the dental office.  She's a recent recipient of the "Student National Dental Hygiene Association Faculty Award." She is currently an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Michigan Dental Hygiene Association, and her local component.  She is the Immediate Past President of Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society. Laura enjoys working part-time for Dr. Irene Lazarchuk and loves using all of the state of the art dental technology that the dynamic hygiene department has to offer patients!
